Retail Engagement Program (REP) solution has three parts. One is a web based application called 'Admin Portal' or simply 'Web Portal', that can be accessed through a web browser. The second is a Windows 8.1+ modern application that can be installed and used on any devices running Windows 8.1+ operating systems including tablets, laptops or desktop computers. The third part is the Windows Phone 8.0+ application that can be installed on Windows Phones with OS 8.0 and above (e.g. Nokia Lumia series devices).


Before using REP solution, it has to be configured and pre-populated with some initial data. This data is captured through a Roll up file completed prior to user training. For more details on the Roll up file, please go to this link:  Roll up file. Data collected through the Roll up file is directly loaded in to the  database of REP solution through scripts.


Through the Admin Portal (web), Administrative users can manage user info, store info, resources or materials used for training, breaking news, view reports on store visit compliance, training activities etc. They can also export call report data to Excel spread sheet for further analysis.


Windows 8.1+ application and Windows Phone 8.0+ application are together referred to as client applications. These applications are very similar on their functionalities, but just compiled and maintained as separate applications to cater to different type of portable devices. Client applications can be used for accessing training resources to learn about new products and services, store visit call reports for daily in-store activities, word on the street call reports for capturing competitive information, capturing customer and RSP feedback etc.
